These terms and conditions outline the agreement between you (the client) and First Health Check. Please review them carefully, and if you have any questions, do not hesitate to contact us.
2. ABOUT US AND CONTACT INFORMATION
2.1 Who We Are: First Health Check is a company registered in England and Wales under registration number 12424647. We work closely with BAPS Hospital in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India, to offer premium medical tourism services for overseas clients.

3. OUR CONTRACT WITH YOU
3.1 Booking Confirmation: Once we confirm availability, your booking will be officially secured, and we will send you written confirmation of your Preventative Health Assessment.
3.2 Pre-Consultation: A virtual consultation with one of our senior doctors is required before the booking is finalised. This consultation includes reviewing your medical history to determine the most appropriate health assessment package for you.
3.3 Data Privacy: We securely collect and store your medical information solely for tailoring your preventative health assessment. We comply with UK GDPR and Indian data protection regulations.
3.4 Confirmation of Health Assessment: Upon selecting your package and completing full payment, we will issue you a “Confirmation of Health Assessment “letter.
3.5 Travel and Visa Arrangements: We assist with visa applications as part of your booking, but we cannot guarantee approval from the relevant authorities. It is your responsibility to ensure the information provided is accurate.
3.6 Travel Insurance: We strongly advise you to obtain comprehensive travel insurance to cover any potential emergencies, cancellations, or unforeseen circumstances during your trip.
3.7 Booking Rejections: If we cannot accept your booking, we will inform you promptly, and you will not be charged.
3.8 Flight Arrangements: Flights are not included in our preventative health assessment packages. However, we can assist in booking flights for an additional fee. First Health Check is not responsible for any flight-related issues. All disputes regarding flights must be directed to the airline.
3.9 Vaccinations: Although vaccinations are not mandatory for India, we advise consulting with your GP or a travel clinic for tailored advice
4. MAKING CHANGES TO YOUR BOOKING
If you wish to modify your booking, contact us as soon as possible. We will advise you on the feasibility of changes and any additional costs that may apply.
5. OUR RIGHT TO MAKE CHANGES
5.1 Minor Adjustments: We may make minor updates to our services to comply with legal requirements or improve technical aspects, which will not entitle you to cancel the contract.
5.2 Significant Changes: If any significant changes to your preventative health assessment arise, we will inform you in advance. If you do not agree to these changes, you may cancel the contract and receive a full refund.
6. PROVIDING OUR PREVENTATIVE HEALTH ASSESSMENT
6.1 Post-Booking Procedure: Once payment is made, we will send you a medical questionnaire to complete before your appointment. Please ensure all information provided is accurate.
6.2 Consent and Conduct: On the day of your assessment, you will be required to sign a consent form detailing the procedures. Failure to sign the consent form will result in cancellation of the preventative assessment health, and your payment will be retained to cover costs incurred.
6.3 Delays Beyond Our Control: If unforeseen circumstances cause delays in your assessment, we will notify you promptly. You may reschedule at no extra cost or cancel for a full refund.
6.4 Suspension of Service: We reserve the right to suspend services due to technical issues, legal requirements, or staffing. You may either reschedule or cancel for a full refund of the uncompleted portion.
7. YOUR RIGHT TO TERMINATE THE CONTRACT
7.1 Termination for Valid Reasons: You may terminate the contract and receive a full refund if:
(a) We notify you of significant changes to your assessment or terms, and you do not agree.
(b) We make a pricing or service description error.
(c) Delays or cancellations arise due to circumstances beyond our control.
(d) We suspend your assessment for legal or technical reasons.
(e) We breach the contract.
7.2 Termination Without Valid Reason: If you terminate the contract without a valid reason, as outlined in Clause 7.1, we may retain part of your payment as compensation for costs incurred.
8. OUR RIGHT TO TERMINATE THE CONTRACT
8.1 Termination for Breach of Contract: We may terminate the contract if:
(a) You fail to make a required payment.
(b) You provide incomplete or inaccurate information.
(c) You refuse to sign the consent form.
8.2 Compensation for Breach: If we terminate the contract due to your breach, we may retain your fee as compensation.
9. ISSUES WITH YOUR PREVENTATIVE HEALTH ASSESSMENT
9.1 Reporting Issues: If you experience any issues with your health assessment, please contact us immediately at info@firsthealthcheck.com.
9.2 Your Legal Rights: Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, you are entitled to services performed with reasonable care and skill. This contract does not affect your statutory rights. More information is available at www.adviceguide.org.uk.
9.3 Our Promise: If we cannot deliver your assessment as agreed and a resolution is not possible, we will issue a refund for the incomplete part of your assessment.
10. PRICING AND PAYMENT
10.1 Pricing Information: The price of your health assessment will be confirmed at the time of booking. If there is a pricing error, we will contact you immediately.
10.2 VAT Adjustments: Changes to VAT between booking and the assessment will be reflected in the final price unless full payment has already been made.
10.3 Payment Methods: Full payment is required after your virtual consultation. We accept credit/debit cards, PayPal, or bank transfer.
11. LIABILITY AND RESPONSIBILITY
11.1 Assessment Results: We provide preventative health assessment based on your consultation. Some tests may be omitted at the senior doctor’s discretion, and refunds will not be provided unless necessary.
11.2 Limitations of Testing: While our testing systems are highly reliable, occasional inaccuracies may occur. We are not responsible for predicting future medical conditions or diagnosing mental health conditions.
11.3 Third-Party Services: We are not responsible for the services provided by third parties, including those we refer you to.
11.4 Limit of Liability: Our liability is limited to foreseeable losses resulting from our negligence. We do not accept responsibility for business-related losses or for losses that were unforeseeable at the time the contract was formed.
12. USE OF PERSONAL INFORMATION
12.1 Data Usage: Your personal information will be used to:
(a) Deliver your preventative health assessment.
(b) Process your payment.
(c) Send corresponding letters regarding your health assessment to the postal address provided.
(d) When booking your hotel, travel and tourism.
(e) Visa application.
12.2 Third-Party Sharing: We will only share your personal information with third parties when legally required.
13. FEEDBACK, SUGGESTIONS, AND COMPLAINTS

14. CANCELLATION POLICY
14.1 Refunds for Preventative Health Assessment:
– If you cancel with 48 hours or more notice: You will receive a 50% refund of the total assessment cost.
– If you cancel with 24 to 48 hours notice: You will receive a 25% refund of the total assessment cost.
– Less than 24 hours notice: No refund will be issued.
14.2 Hotel and Visa Services:
Hotel bookings and visa services are arranged by third parties, and their cancellation policies apply. We are not responsible for any non-refundable costs incurred due to cancellations made on short notice.
Visa fees are non-refundable once the application process has begun, regardless of the approval outcome.
14.3 Rescheduling:
You may reschedule your assessment at no additional cost if the request is made more than 72 hours before the scheduled appointment.
Requests made less than 72 hours before the assessment may incur a rescheduling fee depending on the hospital’s availability.
14.4 Exceptional Circumstances:
If you are forced to cancel due to an unforeseen emergency (such as illness or family bereavement), we may offer a partial refund or reschedule without any additional cost at our discretion. Proof of emergency may be required.
