Item #9
Consultation Timings
Your specialist schedule is carefully coordinated in advance by your dedicated coordinator, who works closely with the clinical team to sequence each appointment in the most efficient and comfortable order. Every consultation is timed to avoid unnecessary waiting and to ensure each specialist has adequate time with you. If any last-minute adjustments are required on the day due to clinical need, your coordinator will inform you immediately and manage any changes without disruption to your overall programme.
Colonoscopy Preparation
If your assessment includes a CT Colonoscopy, bowel preparation is an essential part of ensuring the scan produces the clearest and most diagnostically accurate images. The Peglec preparation solution must be taken between 6:00 PM and 8:00 PM on the evening of Day 2. Your International Patient Coordinator will provide you with full written instructions ahead of your arrival and will be available to answer any questions you have before and during the process. Dietary restrictions on Day 2 will also be advised in advance to support the preparation.
Concierge Support
From the moment you land in Ahmedabad to the moment you depart, your dedicated International Patient Coordinator is personally responsible for every aspect of your logistics and comfort. This includes all hospital and imaging centre transfers, appointment check-ins, communication with the clinical team, and any personal requests you may have throughout your stay. You will never need to navigate the process alone or make any arrangements independently. Your coordinator’s sole focus for the duration of your programme is you. You focus entirely on your health. We handle everything else.
Documentation
We aim to complete as much administrative and medical paperwork as possible before you arrive, minimising any time spent on administration during your three days. This includes your registration documents, consent forms, and pre-assessment questionnaires, all of which are shared with you digitally in advance. Any remaining items that need to be completed on-site are handled swiftly and discreetly by your coordinator, so they cause no disruption to your schedule or experience.
Post-Scan Care
Following any diagnostic imaging procedure, including CT scans, MRI scans, and CT Colonoscopy, light refreshments are provided to ensure you are comfortable and well-cared for before continuing with your programme. Some scans may require fasting beforehand, so your coordinator ensures that refreshments are ready and waiting for you immediately upon completion. Your physical comfort and wellbeing between appointments is considered at every stage, not just during consultations.
Private Transfer
All CT and MRI imaging takes place at GIC Prime, one of Ahmedabad’s leading diagnostic imaging centres, located separately from BAPS YM Hospital. For every transfer between the two facilities, a dedicated team member accompanies you personally by private vehicle. You will never travel alone or be required to arrange your own transport. All transfers are pre-scheduled and timed to fit seamlessly within your daily appointment programme, ensuring punctuality and a smooth, stress-free experience throughout.
Results and Reporting
On the final day of your programme, a senior consultant will conduct a thorough and unhurried review of every result and finding from your three-day assessment. All findings are explained in clear, plain language with no jargon and no ambiguity. You will have the opportunity to ask questions, discuss any areas of concern, and understand exactly what each result means for your health. You will not leave with uncertainty. A comprehensive written report is also prepared for you, covering every specialist finding in full detail.
Communication
Your English-speaking International Patient Coordinator is present at every stage of your programme, from your initial arrival briefing through to your final consultation and departure. They act as the bridge between you and the entire clinical and administrative team, ensuring that every instruction, every result update, and every logistical detail is communicated clearly and promptly. No question is too small. No concern is overlooked. You will always feel fully informed, fully supported, and completely in control of your experience.
