GIC Prime Imaging Centre, also known as the Post-Graduate Institute of Radiology and Imaging, is one of India’s leading diagnostic imaging facilities, with more than 25 years of expertise in medical imaging. All CT and MRI scans in your programme take place here, including advanced 3T MRI.

Fast and avoid caffeine and alcohol for at least eight hours before your assessment, and avoid exercise on the day. Wear comfortable clothing, keep jewellery to a minimum and, if you need vision correction, bring glasses rather than contact lenses. These simple steps help ensure the accuracy of your results.

Registration documents, consent forms and your pre-assessment questionnaire are shared with you digitally and completed before you travel. Anything that must be signed on site is handled discreetly by your coordinator, so administration never interrupts your schedule.

From the moment you land in Ahmedabad until you depart, your dedicated International Patient Coordinator takes personal responsibility for your logistics and comfort: every transfer, every appointment check-in, every conversation with the clinical team and any personal request during your stay. You focus on your health. We take care of everything else.

Your English-speaking coordinator is with you at every stage, from your arrival briefing to your final consultation and departure. They are your link to the clinical and administrative team, ensuring every instruction, result update and detail is communicated clearly and promptly. No question is too small.

Your specialist appointments are sequenced in advance by your coordinator and the clinical team, in the most efficient and comfortable order. Each consultation is timed to avoid waiting and to give every specialist proper time with you. If anything needs to change on the day for clinical reasons, your coordinator will tell you straight away and manage it without disruption.

All CT and MRI imaging takes place at GIC Prime, one of Ahmedabad’s leading diagnostic imaging centres, which is separate from BAPS YM Hospital. For every journey between the two, a member of our team accompanies you in a private vehicle. All transfers are pre-arranged and timed around your programme, so you never travel alone or arrange your own transport.

Some scans require fasting, so light refreshments are ready for you as soon as each CT scan, MRI scan or CT colonoscopy is complete. Your comfort between appointments is considered as carefully as the consultations themselves.

Bowel preparation ensures your CT colonoscopy produces the clearest, most accurate images. The Peglec preparation solution is taken between 6:00 PM and 8:00 PM on the evening of Day Two, and dietary guidance for that day is given in advance. Your International Patient Coordinator provides full written instructions before you arrive and is on hand to answer any questions.

On your final day, a senior consultant reviews every result and finding from your three days with you, thoroughly and without rush. Everything is explained in clear, plain language, with time to ask questions and discuss any concerns. You also receive a comprehensive written report covering every specialist finding in full.
